Haulotte Shanghai inspiring the Chinese MEWP market
On 15 – 18 February Haulotte Shanghai and D1CM – China’s biggest construction industry network platform – jointly launched the first live online broadcast event of the Chinese MEWP industry. This smart format was conceived to support local rental companies to find the best way to grow their business while controlling the potential risk of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The online event aimed to provide valuable information related to the construction rental business. Topics included safe operation, rental sales training, insurance, legal risks and the resumption of work. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, most of the population is staying in their home. This live broadcast enabled rental companies to communicate with peers, and to keep abreast of the current situation. It was well-received according to the participation statistics: with more than 3000 unique visitors; participants from 27 provinces across the country and more than 10,000 interactive messages written.
Tim Mo, marketing manager at Haulotte Shanghai said, “Our engineer, William Fu, conducted the Safe Operation conference as one of the event’s experts. This module proved to be the most popular. We are very proud to have been part of this broadcast, it demonstrates our commitment to find creative tools to keep in touch with our customers.”
